There are 5 options in the connection list, but only 2 of them are standard for this protocol - Serial port and Modbus TCP/IP. To start using the utility, you need to set up the connection (tab Connection → Connect).
The Modbus protocol itself was developed back in 1979, but even now you can find a large number of models of electronics using the standards of this protocol. It should be noted that the simulator works in Master mode. Plus, you can leave notes in individual cells. The program uses the multiwindow mode for convenient display of various technical parameters in several tables at once. Modbus Poll is a simulator designed specifically for testing the Modbus protocol in Slave devices.
